"Wonderful to be your first visitors to the well kitted out cottage. Quiet and serene; we had a good rest. Even the fish started to bite - eventually. Good luck! And we would love to come and visit again."

"An amazing place, the cottage is very well equipped with attention to detail. We relaxed and enjoyed the view and would love to come back again."

"We've had a fabulous time - thanks so much! What a beautiful spot and such a lovely cottage. We'll be back - perhaps in winter, when we can try out the fireplace?"

"Loved the Cottage and the attention to detail. The lounger beds in the lounge are very inviting! Just the peace we needed. Was a bit windy to fish but hopefully next time we will catch the elusive 1kg trout. Perfect spot for time lapse photography. Will be back."

"To the Woolly Bugger Trout Fishing Farm TEAM, thank you for an awesome weekend experience. Wow, what a beautiful setting and well equipped cottage. John'o your input and hospitality was greatly appreciated. The boys had a ball on the quad bikes and the trout fishing was well worth the crazy roads! Thank you, we'll see you again"

"What a beautiful and tranquil place. Accommodation was superb, fishing good and the nature trail walk was awesome. We will be back soon and thanks to Jonno for his hospitatility and kindness."

"This place was awesome for a real ruggered trout fishing experience. I thank you Johno for your hospitality and making us feel welcome :) Flies i recommend would be the Red Blood Worm, Walkers Killer and the Egg Fly. We will definitely be back soon!!"

"Absolutely stunning farm! Very well equipped cottage and such friendly hospitality. Would go back in a second!"

"Wonderfull place, everything was great. Walking trail is nice and I caught a fish! 2 nights is too short to stay in here. You made the good choice Jonathan to come and live in here. Thanks for your hospitality." - French guests on their last leg of touring South Africa

"The Woolly bugger farm GINGER QUILL COTTAGE is the perfect cottage break if you are looking for absolute privacy in nature. The cottage itself is very clean, crisp white linen, and beautiful loungers in the lounge to read your book in front of the fireplace. The one trout dam was still being built so we only had one to fish in but as we know the farm is new, we trust it will be ready when we return. Take a drive up past the main farmhouse to the lookout and you see nature for miles, and loads of buck, wildebeest etc. Will definitely be back. Well kitted out and peaceful as anything"

"Absolutely wonderful place, the perfect venue for me to pop the question! We cannot wait to be back here and always remember our first special time here. PS: She said YES!"

"Everything was absolutely spectacular! Couldn’t ask for better. We are chilled and rested today! We drove the 4x4 route, which was awesome! You guys are doing well for someone new in the industry. I would encourage you to build more chalets, because you are sure to be flooded with more guests. Everything was spot on. Loved the shower!!...such a clever way to do the floor! The muppets also loved their stay, they ran around like mad dogs and were out cold all night from 8pm onwards. What a pleasure!! Thanks so much you guys have a wonderful haven away from the mad world. We will be back!"

"We had a wonderful, quiet and peaceful time at Woolly Bugger. We don't fish, but seeing the dams and the tranquility of it all, inspired me! Truly a haven for fish, men and those who just want to sit and soak it all in. The dogs loved it as well. One of the best pet friendly places I've stayed at. Thanks so much!"

"We had an awesome weekend at the Woolly Bugger Trout farm ! We were a group of 5 and our accommodation was spacious, clean and very welcoming. The position of the farm was exquisite, set in a valley overlooking two well stocked trout dams. The stone cottage we stayed in was lovely and cosy. The fires were cleaned out everyday and we could enjoy the setting without too much hassle. The nature walks were breathtaking and not too difficult to get to. The view from the top of the farm was amazing, nothing like I've seen in this area; the wildlife , cattle and donkey's roam freely and give a really rustic feel . We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away, the kids loved the quad biking, exploring and fishing in the dams . My son caught a beautiful 1 kg rainbow trout and Jono helped us smoke it for dinner. We went golfing at the the nearby farm and enjoyed exploring the area. The community of Tontledoos farmers is incredibly small and quaint and nothing like the buzz in Dullstroom which we enjoyed greatly. Very remote, far away from the city and hassles of life; it was stunning and a very special getaway , tucked away in the middle of nowhere ...
To Jonno ,we would like to thank you for welcoming us and being so gracious with your hospitality. It was worth the hectic roads and serious 4x4 driving. Just a note there is no petrol station in this area or shops so go well prepared. The roads are quite hectic to navigate and a proper 4x4 is advisable especially in the rain . We had the most memorable weekend ever... Thank - you!!!"

"Would go back any time!"
